Well I have a method that will help you understand how to verify the inventory list after shifting. I made this method when we moved house last year and it proved very helpful in keeping track of each item in the inventory. So, this will take a bit of organising and doing each step will make the process extremely simple for you. I will share the process below.
Method to Verify Your Inventory after Shifting
Before the shift, you need to do some things. First, label each item in the box and assign colours to each box. Suppose you have kitchen items in a box, then choose a colour like green and number each item. So, for a box with 20 items, label 1 to 20 for each item on a green paper. Then, label the box in green with the number of items in it. Repeat this for each box with a specific colour and numbering
Take a picture of each item to see its before and after state after the move.
Note down the number of items in each box and the colour assigned to the box and keep the data in a sheet.
You can then match each item by referring to the sheet on your phone or computer.
