  1. You will need to start by cleaning the shower arm threads to remove any old tape or debris. 

  2. Take Teflon tape and wrap it around the threads 3 to 4 times in a clockwise direction, keeping

  3. Then press the tape firmly into the threads with your fingers to ensure a good grip.

  4. Screw the showerhead back on tightly by hand, then use a wrench for a final gentle turn if needed. 

  5. Finally, turn on the water, check for leaks, and if needed, you can add another wrap or two of tape for a perfect seal.
