www.parcel.indianrail.gov.in). You can also visit the Parcel Office at your nearest railway station.
Sign up and Access: Create an account on the site and log in to begin the reservation process.
Provide Journey Information: Complete the online form by entering the start and end railway stations.
Choose a Train: Select an appropriate train from the options provided by the system.
Fill the Booking Form: Complete the Forwarding Note (booking form) with accurate details of goods, weight estimate, and contact information.
Check Approximate Charges: The system will calculate approximate freight charges based on weight and distance.
Submit e-Forwarding Note: Take a printout of the system-generated e-Forwarding Note and submit it at the parcel godown.
Hand Over the Goods: Deliver your packed household goods at the originating station at least 4 hours before train departure.
Pay Final Charges: Your parcel will be weighed. Pay the actual freight charges and collect the Railway Receipt (RR), Parcel Way Bill (PWB), or Luggage Ticket (LT).
Track and Collect: Track your parcel online. Once it reaches the destination, show the original RR and collect your goods from the delivery counter.
