Among the two options, I found the online transfer more quick and convenient. Take a look at the following steps to understand better.

1. Firstly, log in to your online bank account and select the ‘Funds Transfer’ option on your dashboard. Fill up the necessary details, such as the account number and the amount you want to transfer.

2. Once you’re done filling in the information, review them once before confirming. Then, confirm the transaction by either entering your password or an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

3. After you send in the confirmation, check your account statement after a while. This is to verify that funds have been transferred from your account.

What are the Charges Involved in RTGS HDFC transfer?

HDFC Bank does not charge any fee for RTGS transactions done online. If you’re doing the transfer by visiting the branch, the transaction charges for RTGS from HDFC Bank is Rs. 15 plus GST.

RBI has waived RTGS fee, and it’s up to the bank to pass on this benefit to the customers. There is no fee for an inward transaction. For an outward transaction,

• After that, you should sign the document to approve the fund transfer.

• HDFC bank representatives will then complete the fund transfer using the information provided by you.

How to transfer money through RTGS in HDFC online?

• You must use your username and password to access the HDFC net banking portal.

• Choose the proper fund transfer method under the "Payments/Transfer" section.

• Select the mode of payment, and then select "Proceed."

• Then decide from which account you want to make a transaction.

• Enter the desired transfer amount, the purpose for the transfer, and the beneficiary account.

• Confirm all the information before approving the conditions that have been provided.

• Check all the information, then click "Confirm."

• Click "Confirm" after entering the OTP issued to the registered mobile number and the net banking password.

• The payment will then be carried out after you receive a confirmation.

What are HDFC RTGS hours?

Online RTGS transactions are available around-the-clock, with the exception of 11:30 PM to 00:30 AM because of the cut-off. But, you must contact the bank and ask about RTGS timings if you want to use the facility offline. On the second and fourth Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays, banks are closed.

What if the transaction is not completed in time?

The sum should be refunded to your bank account within the following hour, as per Reserve Bank of India regulations. Regardless of whether the money transfer has been completed within HDFC RTGS time. In the event of a transaction problem, you may raise a concern with the bank or submit the problem to the Reserve Bank of India's customer care division.
