How Can I Transfer Money from Yono App?
Install and open the YONO SBI mobile app. Log in using your MPIN, internet banking credentials, or biometric authentication. This takes you to the dashboard with fund transfer options.
You can transfer money in a few different ways: From the home screen, tap “YONO Pay” or “Fund Transfer”. You’ll see options like:
Own Accounts (transfer between your own SBI accounts)
Third-party SBI Accounts
Other Bank Accounts (via IMPS/NEFT/RTGS)
Select the relevant option. If you’re sending funds to another bank account regularly, tap “Add/Manage Beneficiary”.
Enter the beneficiary’s name, account number, IFSC code, and set a transfer limit. Verify via OTP the beneficiary becomes active after the required activation period.
YONO also offers Quick Transfer (via IMPS) you can send up to Rs. 50,000 instantly without adding a beneficiary first by entering name, account number, IFSC, and amount.
If you’ve set up UPI within the app, select the UPI option under YONO Pay. Enter the VPA (UPI ID), account + IFSC, or QR code, amount, and your UPI PIN to send money instantly.
After selecting the account or recipient, enter the amount you want to transfer. Choose the purpose (if required) and authenticate the transaction with OTP/MPIN. On success, you’ll get an in-app confirmation and SMS.
