Here are two methods to reset the air conditioner of Whirlpool.
First method
First, turn off your AC at the circuit breaker to prevent it from cycling.
Next, press the reset button on your AC and hold it for 3 to 5 seconds before releasing it.
Then, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Ensure your AC is set to ‘on’ and the thermostat to ‘cool.’
Finally, listen for the AC to start up and check if cool air is blowing by holding your hand over the vent.
Second Method
To reset the AC,
Turn off your thermostat.
Cut power to the AC unit.
Restore power after 5 minutes.
Then turn the thermostat back on after 1 minute.
