Almost 6 months ago, I faced an issue with my Carrier AC, where it was only blowing hot air. As my cousin has an AC shop, I called him and informed him about it. He said I needed to reset it, and I immediately asked how to reset carrier air conditioner. He said you can try to reset it by turning off the power, followed by looking for the reset button inside the compressor and so on. I have shared the detailed method below for you.

How to Reset a Carrier AC Unit?
My cousin said whether it’s because of a power surge or just a system hiccup, resetting your air conditioner can get it back to working properly. Here's what I needed to do to reset my unit.
Turn off the power at the circuit breaker. It’s always best to start by cutting off power to the unit for safety.
Look for the reset button inside the compressor or near the control panel. It’s usually a small red button.
Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds. This will start the reset process.
After that, press and hold the button again for another 3-5 seconds to make sure it’s fully reset.
Turn the power back on in the circuit breaker, and don’t forget to ensure the AC’s power switch is on.
You can wait a couple of minutes for the system to restore power, and you should hear the unit start up again.
Check if the AC is cooling properly.
If it’s still not working as expected, it could be because of issues like a clogged filter or low refrigerant. As it was out of my expertise, I hired a professional to fix it. I hope you understand how to reset carrier AC.
