Section 154 B and Sections 154 B(1-31) of Chapter XIII-B of
‘The Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960’deals with the co-operative housing societies of Maharashtra.
There are provisions for the
‘removal of a member’and the
‘disqualification of Committee and its Members’mentioned in the sections
154B-9and
154B-23respectively, but there is no such a provision for replacement of disqualified committee members under section 154B-27.
But, in relation to
Section 78Aof the
The Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, which apply
mutatis mutandis(with the necessary changes having been made or with consideration of the respective differences) to the housing societies:
