Hello. Small holes in the wall can be irritating, but solving them isn’t as tough. I can tell you how to repair small holes in drywall. The process is a bit extensive, but what I will do is share them stepwise below for you to follow the method without trouble.

How to Patch a Small Hole in Drywall?

  1. First, you need to cover the hole with the right-sized adhesive mesh patch.

  2. Use a putty knife to spread the spackle or lightweight joint compound included in the kit over the patched hole.

  3. Next, spread the material generously in a crisscross pattern.

  4. After this, feather the edges so that the compound blends better into the wall.

  5. Let the joint compound dry as per the manufacturer’s instructions. The time can be up to 24 hours.

  6. Thoroughly fill and cover the area. Apply a second coat of joint compound if needed.

  7. Once dry, you can sand the region smooth.

  8. Touch up and you can start to paint.

This is all I have to share with you. I hope you will find this useful.
