Hello there. We have wooden furniture in my house. A few months ago, we noticed damaged corners of the couch placed in our living room. Here is how you can repair the corners of wooden furniture:
Take a utility knife and scrape off the wood around the damaged region. This will give the wood filler a nice foundation to adhere to.
Have some scraps of cardboard and a straight edge. Apply a little bit of vaseline to the top of your card or straight edge and slide it under the damaged corner/
Then, mix a small amount of wood filler and apply it to the damaged corner. I took a popsicle stick to mix and apply.
Add scraps of cardboard to the corner to form the wood filler into a right angle.
Remove the cardboard before the wood filler fully dries. It dries pretty quickly, so you won’t need to leave it there for long.
Allow the wood filler to cure for 30 minutes or so and sand it. If you feel the corners aren’t smooth enough, apply wood filler again in small bits.
