Not everyone can purchase a house whenever they want. Some of us need to move to new cities for jobs, education, business and that's when you need to rent a house. But renting a house is not easy, you need to check all the aspects carefully before deciding which house you want to rent. I have recently rented a house in Bangalore so I will also share with you all the aspects of how to find houses for rent. I will provide the pointers below:

  • Set a budget limit

To find rental homes you need to fix your budget first. This is the most important aspect you need to consider before looking for rental homes. Consultants say a house rent should not be more than 25-30% of your salary. I have rented a house in Bangalore for Rs.15,000. It is a BHK apartment and since I live alone I thought 1 BHK is perfect for me because I can maintain a small house rather than a bigger one.

  •  Amenities

Check out the amenities available near the property you would like to rent. You definitely don't want to rent a place which is far away from your job location. Find a place where you can easily get all the transport and the place should be close to hospitals, malls, gyms etc. Also, do a background check to see if the locality is safe for you.

  •  Avoid brokers
