If there is a threat of life and absolute damage to the property, Sections 103 and 104 of the Indian Penal Code allows a person to cause grievous hurt
You can approach the local municipal body or revenue department to ask for demarcation of the land and property so that you are legally protected and defend your terms with the trespasser and in the court if needed
It is advisable to build a solid fencing around the property, preferably with barbed wires
You can also file an FIR with the police with the detailed information about date, time and instances of trespassing.
