How to Remove Switch from a Switch Board?
The first step is to ensure that you have switched off the power to the circuit you will be working on from the main electrical panel. This is done to save yourself from electric shock.
After turning off the electricity, remove the switch plate using a flathead screwdriver.
Next, remove the wires from the old switch and then remove the switch slowly. Choose a screwdriver based on the screw on the switch.
Attach the new switch after that, and connect the electrical wires.
Once the wires are attached, you must fold the excess wire and slowly reinstall the plate back in its place.
