Removing a modular switchboard is not that hard. Follow these three steps on how to remove modular switch board and get it done: First, turn off the power supply to avoid any accidents. Then, use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the front plate and unscrew the switches or sockets from the wall box. Finally, gently pull out the board, ensuring you disconnect the wires safely without damaging them.

How to Remove Switch from Modular Switch Board?

Removing a switch from a modular switchboard is simple if done carefully. Here are the steps you can follow to execute the task safely:

  1. You will need to start by turning off the main power supply to the switchboard.

  2. Next, using a flathead screwdriver, pry off the front panel of the board gently.

  3. Start unscrewing the switch you want to remove using a suitable screwdriver.

  4. Then carefully pull out the switch, noting how the wires are connected.

  5. Disconnect the wires one by one, but make sure they don’t touch each other.

  6. Once the switch is free, check the wires and secure them if you’re not replacing the switch immediately.

I have done it several times so I have expertise in it, but if you don’t, seek an electrician’s aid to avoid any danger or mishap.
