Black stains on tile floors are frequently brought on by heavy foot traffic, moving furniture, and shoes. So, how to remove black marks on tile floor? Recently, I noticed several scuff marks on my floor and tried WD-40, which worked surprisingly well. Although WD-40 works well, you can also try a few DIY options with everyday household items. These techniques are inexpensive, gentle to tiles, and can help you get back the smooth, clean appearance of your floor without breaking any tiles.

How to Remove Black Marks from Tile Floor?

If you are planning to use commercial cleaners then you can use WD 40. Just apply a tiny bit to a soft cloth, then use gentle circular motions to rub the marks. Using a moist cloth, wipe clean and pat dry. Apart from the commercial cleaner, you can use other DIY solutions like:

  1. Baking soda with warm water: Make a paste by combining two tablespoons of baking soda with warm water. Using a gentle cloth, apply to the marks, rub gently, and then wipe clean and dry.

  2. Toothpaste: Using a cloth, lightly apply toothpaste and rub in firm circular motions. Use a moist cloth to wipe, then completely dry.

Black stains can be easily removed from your tiles with these methods.
