Hello there. I would like to help you by sharing how to remove airlock in geyser. I once faced this issue and it caused a lot of trouble. So, I connected the cold and hot water taps using a hose to fix this airlock. Don’t worry, it is not that complicated and you’d be able to understand once I share the steps below.
How to Remove Air Lock from Geyser?
Here is the method you can follow:
Start by ensuring that your hot water supply is on.
If the cold water runs fine, but the hot water doesn’t or runs slowly and then flows in a thin line, then it is a sign of an airlock. This happens when the air in the pipes isn’t being moved by the hot water, thereby blocking the pipe.
Take a length of the garden hose of about 1 foot and some duct tape.
Use the tape and hose to join the cold and hot water taps. Open the hot water tap.
Then, open the cold water tap for about 5 seconds. Ensure that the airlock is fixed.
Check the hot water at another tap in your house.
Repeat steps 4-6 for 2-3 times.
If the hot water works now, switch off all the taps and remove your hose.
If you still face issues, I’d recommend you call a plumber to diagnose the problem.
This is all I know about how to fix air lock in geyser. I hope you find these steps useful.
