The government allotted land to SC ST is officially the property of the respective government. This is officially registered as a Sale of Property by the Govt. of Karnataka. Till 15 years, you cannot sell this property without the government’s permission. Even if you sell the property after the permission, the land will eventually be returned to the government as it is government’s property.
