The steps are as follows;
Go to your municipal corporation’s official property tax website (for BBMP visit
https://bbmptax.karnataka.gov.in/, it’s the online tax payment portal). Look for the option to pay property tax online.
On the portal, enter your Khata number or PID along with other requested details like owner name or mobile number. Click Fetch to display your property’s tax dues.
Once your property record and tax amount appear, choose the financial year, check if everything is correct, and proceed to the payment section.
Most portals support multiple digital modes such as net banking, credit/debit card, UPI, or wallets. Make your payment using any mode you prefer.
After successful payment, the system generates a digital receipt with a transaction ID and property details. Download and save/print this receipt as proof of payment for future reference.
If you prefer offline payment, visit your local municipal office, provide the Khata number, pay at the counter, and receive the receipt directly.
