To pay your EPF, you need to visit the EPFO portal and you need to pay online through ECR (Electronic Challan cum Return) credentials.
Fill in all the information of your PF account such as Establishment ID, Name, Address, Exemption status, etc.
Tap on the 'Payment' option and choose 'ECR' upload.
Now choose the options including ‘Wage month’, ‘Salary Disbursal Date’, ‘Rate of Contribution’.
Upload the ECR file in the column that is given.
After successful validation of the ECR file, you will see the same message. If there is an error in the file, then you need to upload the correct ECR file again.
After this, you will be able to generate the TRRN of the file.
Tap on verify and click on the 'Prepare Challan' option to get the ECR summary sheet to learn how to pay EPF challan payment online.
Enter the information for ‘Admin/Inspection charges' and hit the challan button.
Now tap on the 'Pay option'.
Choose your online payment mode and choose the bank preferred from the list of options.
After the successful payment, you will be able to generate the transaction/payment ID and you can also check the e-receipt.
You will be updated later about your EPFO passbook and the confirmation details against TRRN by the EPFO.
