5. You can clean your old cabinet handles and knobs. If you are buying new handles, you may have to make new holes, so use a small measuring tool to drill properly and keep all handles straight.

6. Once dry, reinstall the doors, drawers, and hardware in place. Add extras like shelf liners, lighting, or a backsplash to complete the new look.

• The next step was to apply the primer evenly throughout the whole surface.

• Now, I had to paint the surface and let it dry completely for around one to eight hours. 

• To complete the process, he told me to reinstall the cabinet doors and hardware after it had dried out completely.
