While painter’s tape is an essential tool to paint the walls, it’s a lot more hassle and time-consuming than it seems. I wanted to paint the edges of my wall but I didn’t want to spend my time taping. So, I looked for some tips online on

How to Paint Corners without Tape?
Right Tools
Use a stiff brush and press the corner bristles against the edge to create a sharp line. Make sure you move the brush steadily. I used a paint edger tool for cutting in as it becomes a lot easier to get a clean line.
Less Paint
Don’t use too much paint. I made the same mistake and it can mess things up. Try to apply less paint over the bristles to prevent spilling it on surfaces you don’t want the paint on.
One Wall at a Time
This tip is often overlooked because people tend to go all over the place to paint the entire wall. I saw a lot of videos mentioning this tip, so I incorporated the same in my painting. I started from the lower left, then moved up, and back before painting the rest of the wall.
These are a few common tips that I followed to paint the edges of my wall. As this was my first time, the outcome was decent, as the edges look a little sloppy and jagged.
