How to Paint Diamond Pattern on Wall?
Measurement is Key: The height of the diamond should be twice the width of the wall. This can be tricky to measure so I have listed a few steps below for an easier measurement.
Measure the width of the wall
Divide the value by the number of diamonds you want horizontally.
Use that value as the width of the diamond and multiply it by 2 for height.
Depending on the size of the wall, you might have to adjust the height of the diamond.
Start Painting: Paint your base coat of paint on the wall first with the lighter shade of two colours you’ve chosen for the pattern. Let it dry for a couple of hours or overnight.
Draw Lines: Draw lines vertically where your diamond patterns will be. Then, draw a straight line in the exact width of the diamond vertically. Cover all the walls you want to paint. Then, draw horizontal lines in the height of your diamond.
Connect Dots: Then, find the middle of each rectangle and mark the top, bottom, left, and right side. Once done, draw lines to connect the dots to form a diamond pattern.
Final Paint: Finally, you can use a mini roller to paint to fill in the diamond patterns. Then, let it dry for a couple of hours before you remove the lines/tapes.
