I finished painting my living room with a fresh coat of paint. Everything looked great from a distance but when I moved closer towards the wall, I saw uneven drops of paint between the two surfaces- ceiling and walls. I used a hack which helped me learn how to paint between ceiling and wall. I’m excited to share the hack with you for a smooth finish.
How to Paint between Ceiling and Wall?
Check if your ceiling and wall paint has dried completely, after that use painter’s tape to apply a line from ¼ inch from the wall on the ceiling and ¼ inch from the ceiling on the wall.
I recommend using a good quality white caulk, avoid clear or almond colour caulk. First use a caulking gun to apply a drop of white caulk in a line, between the ceiling and the wall. To smooth the bead of the caulk, drag it down with your covered finger till the caulk is spread evenly between the tape.
Working in parts will be easier for you to smooth out the caulk before it dries. Make sure to finish the whole room by repeating the same process.
After completing the room, you have to remove the tape before the caulk dries to get a perfect straight line.
I hope you remember this hack on how to paint ceiling edges when the painting becomes challenging.
