Here is the process you can follow to pack your washing machine:

1. Begin by emptying the machine. There should be no clothes in the machine whatsoever. Also drain any water.

2. Clean the washing machine. You can use hot water and vinegar. Use a cotton cloth to wipe the interior and exterior. Let the machine dry out.

3. Switch off the water supply and unplug the machine. Take off all the pipe fittings and accessories.

4. Secure the drum of the machine by placing a packing foam in it.

5. Take a packing box big enough for the machine and cushion it using padding materials like packing peanuts, bubble wraps, etc.

6. For the front loading machine, close the door well and tape around it. Also secure the lid and electrical cords using the same packing tape.

7. Take bubble wraps and packing sheets to wrap the machine. Apply packing tape in multiple layers to keep the wrapping in place.

8. Place the machine in the box, tape both the ends properly and label it. You should mark the top portion and write fragile as well.

9. Use a dolly if possible to move the machine.
