Here is the full packing process of the car the professional followed to move my cousin’s car to Chennai. But, before starting the steps, they asked my cousin to give his car a proper wash. He said it’s easier to spot any dents or scratches when the car’s clean.

1. They asked him to clear out everything inside, personal stuff, electronic items, papers,etc. 

2. After that, they checked the outside of the car for any loose bits, mirrors, the antenna, even the spoiler. 

3. My cousin ensured not to fill the petrol tank all the way. They asked to keep it around a quarter, enough to move it around if needed, but not too much to add weight.

4. Next, they checked the tyre pressure. Not too high, not too low, just balanced.

5. Before the truck arrived, they locked up the car completely, doors, windows, etc. and took the photocopy of the needed documents.
