I recently bought a computer system to play video games, and I decided to mount the monitor to save space and create a more organised, cleaner setup. While researching how to mount a computer monitor to the wall, I came across two main methods: using desk clamps, and adhesive mounts. Let me share the methods in detail for each one.

Adhesive mounts are best for mounting monitors on surfaces where drilling is not possible, like glass or tile walls. These mounts use strong sticky pads or tapes to attach the mount to the surface. Ensure the adhesive mount you pick can hold the weight of your monitor.
Desk clamps work great if you have a strong desk with the right edge. These mounts use adjustable clamps to attach securely to the edge of your desk, giving your monitor a steady spot. Make sure you pick a desk clamp that fits the thickness and shape of your desk.

A few weeks ago as I was working while sitting on my desk, I noticed that my desk could use some cleaning up. So I decided to free up some of that space by mounting my PC monitor on the wall. It needed to be done properly and securely for it to actually turn out good. After asking about it with some of my friends, I started doing research on

and finally found the easiest steps that I shared below.
How to Mount Computer Monitor to Wall?
Here’s the process I followed to mount computer on my wall:
I started by first gathering everything I would need, which included a drill, a stud finder, a level, some screws, and a wall mount made especially for displays.
It is important to select a mount that could tilt and rotate for you to change the viewing angle. So, I chose the right spot on the wall.
Since it's essential to tightly secure the mount to the studs, I used the stud finder to locate them. I used a pencil to mark the location of the studs for convenience.
I then used a level to make sure the wall mount was straight after holding it up to the wall at the height at which I wanted it to be.
Once I was satisfied with the alignment, I marked the location of the screws. After drilling pilot holes into the studs, I screwed the mount into place.
Now that the mount was secure in its place, I could attach my monitor. Most monitors have VESA mounting holes on the back, so I aligned those with the brackets on the mount. I hope you get an idea of how to mount a computer monitor to the wall.
