How to draw swastik on door? You can draw swastik on door using turmeric or vermilion. Here is the step by step process to draw swastik on door. Usually, when people draw a swastik, they simply do it in two strokes wherein, those two lines intersect each other in the middle, it is believed that doing so may reduce the power of swastik. The correct way to draw swastik is to draw it in 2 strokes ensuring that they don’t intersect each other. For this, you must start by drawing a line from the upper right corner and extending it down on the right corner creating an incomplete S (see the lines drawn in black). Hello Niharika. I recently taught my daughter how to make swastik on main door. We renovated our house and when it got ready, we asked our daughter to make a swastika. So, let me teach you the process here. You first make a vertical line and a horizontal line of the same length. The horizontal line should pass through the centre of the vertical line. 

Then, you will have four outside points if you exclude the centre point where the vertical and horizontal line touch. Extend the left point on the horizontal line above and the right point on the same line downwards till they are in line with the vertical line. Extend the top point on the vertical line on the right side and the bottom point on the left side till they are in line with the horizontal line. Make four dots in the four spaces inside the four lines.

In Hinduism, the Swastik is considered a symbol of power, good fortune, prosperity and Mars. It is also believed that this sign can fix or remove the Vastu doshas of the house, hence widely used. How to place swastik on main door?

First, let me share how to draw Swastik and then how to place it on the main door. The first way to draw a swastik is clockwise. In such ones, the lines turn to our right pointing forward. 

There is another way to draw a swastik that is counterclockwise. In such a swastika the lines turn to our left pointing backwards.

It is a vertical line from east to west and above it is a second horizontal line from south to north and one line from the east direction at the end of its four arms. Do remember to place a point in the middle of the four lines.

You can also hang a swastik on the main door or in the northeast corner of the pooja room of your house.

• You will need a measuring tape, pencil, ruler, and masking tape.

• Using the measuring tape, find the center of the door horizontally and vertically. Make a small pencil mark at the center point.

• Place the ruler horizontally on the center mark and draw a straight line across the door using the pencil.

• Place the ruler vertically on the center mark and draw a straight line down the door using the pencil.

• Starting from the intersection point of the horizontal and vertical lines, use the ruler to draw four arms of equal length, forming a plus (+) shape. The arms should extend outward from the intersection point.

• Use the masking tape to carefully trace over the pencil lines, creating a clear outline of the Swastik symbol on the door. Make sure the lines are straight and well-defined.

• If desired, you can paint the Swastik symbol on the door using suitable colors, or add decorative elements to enhance its appearance.
