Let me share what I did
I asked myself what two colours make light green. The answer was quite simple, you take a darker green shade and add white paint to it. Right, that’s what had to be done. But the conundrum started when I had to choose which dark green to pick up. Some of the options I had were:
Emerald green
Juniper green
Basil
Pine
These were the greens available with me. I went ahead with basil green since I needed a grass effect and basil had much more resemblance. I started adding white colour to the basil shade and somewhat got the colour I needed.
If you don’t have these fancy shades of green available, you can do the most basic thing that anybody can tell you (if they have a knowledge of primary colours of colour wheel).
To achieve the light green shade, take vibrant yellow colour paint and mix slight amount of blue colour to it. Do it in moderation and stop as soon as you get the light green shade of your choice.
