Get your bamboo and cut it to size. For this, you will require a ¾-inch diameter bamboo cut long enough to fit over the pot’s opening. You will also require a larger 2-inch diameter piece of bamboo, cut to about 6-inch in length. Create the spout by mitering one end of this piece.
Assembling your platform.Using string or twine, lace the 3 narrow pieces of bamboo together into a platform that can fit over the pot’s back half. Use glue to attach the larger piece of bamboo to the platform. You should attach it at an angle (with the help of a wedge) so that the spout is angled down slightly towards the pot’s center.
Assembling the fountain.Keep the pump at the pot’s bottom. Connect the tube and run it up and behind the platform. Keep the tube’s end in the bamboo spout so that it goes about 2-inch in, and then tape the tube in place against the pot (make sure it doesn’t get wet).
Adding water and starting the pump.It should be working properly now.
Adding finishing touches.Fill the with river rocks and use some decorative plants around the spout for covering the pumps.
