Hi,
The mobile link to SBI Bank account can be done through the following 3 ways;
By visiting the
State Bank of India - Personal Bankingportal
By visiting ATM
By visiting SBI branch.
After getting a new SIM card, I linked my phone number to my SBI account by visiting the ATM. Let me share the steps that I followed;
I visited the nearest ATM
From the list of options, I chose Registration
Entered the ATM pin
Chose the option to "Register Mobile Number" from the list of options displayed on the screen
After this, I selected the option to "Change Mobile Number" I was prompted to enter and validate my previous mobile number
Following that, I was required to input and validate my new mobile number
Separate OTPs were sent to the old and new mobile numbers
I used the following format to send the OTP and reference number that I received in an SMS from both my old and new mobile number, ACTIVATE IOTP VALUE + REF NUMBER TO 567676.
Within 4 hours my mobile number was updated.
