How to link my Aadhar card with Ration Card?

I have recently got my Aadhar Card linked with my ration card. You can also get it done by following the below steps:
  • Carry all the required documentation to the PDS or ration store that is nearby.
  • Bring a photocopy of your bank passbook if you haven't yet linked your Aadhaar card to your bank account.
  • Carry a passport-sized photo of the family's head of household as well. Submit all of these documents to the ration shop or Public Distribution System (PDS) office.
  • The PDS/Ration shop staff may ask for fingerprint authentication to confirm the validity of your Aadhaar card.
  • Finally, you will be informed through SMS that your Aadhar got linked to your ration card.
