Many owners and builders do not disclose if a house is Vastu compliant. I usually use a compass to check Vastu directions and find out the Vastu of the flat. I look at the size of the rooms, placement of objects, the direction of the living room, master bedroom, washroom, kitchen, puja room etc. I would advise you to do the same.
Make sure the entrance to the apartment should be in the East and North-East directions. These directions are considered to be the most auspicious. The South and South-West corners are considered to be unlucky for flat entrances.
