Hey there
If the height of the structure or building is below 150 m above ground level, then NOC for
clearance from AAI is not required. The minimum floor-to-floor height is 10 feet for an apartment building. As per the rules of DGCA, no building within a 5 km radius of an aerodrome should be more than 45 metres, i.e no building must have more than 14 floors.
However such rules vary from one state to another. In Mumbai, the height restriction for buildings near the proposed Navi Mumbai International airport has been lifted from 55.1 meters and now it is 160 meters.
Usually, these details are always furnished on the official website of a project. If there is no such thing, ask the builder about it or visit the municipality or concerned office with the site documents and get relevant information from the officials there.
