Here is how to install bamboo wood flooring,

  1. First, clean the subfloor and make sure it is dry and level.

  2. Then, if the subfloor is new concrete, check the moisture with a concrete moisture meter. It should be below 6%.

  3. Next, leave the bamboo flooring in the room for at least 48 hours so it can adjust to the room temperature and humidity.

  4. After that, open the boxes and check each board. Make piles of light, medium, and dark boards to mix colours and patterns naturally.

  5. Decide the direction to lay the boards. Place them along the main source of light in the room.

  6. For floating floors with tongue-and-groove boards, lay the underlay first and put 10mm spacers around the room.

  7. After that, glue the tongue and groove joints together, but do not glue the boards to the underlay. Stagger the boards as you lay them.

  8. Then, for Uniclic floating floors, lay underlay, use spacers, click the boards together, and stagger colours and patterns.

  9. For secret nailing on a wooden subfloor, fix loose areas, sand high spots, and fill low spots. Keep a 10mm gap around the room.

  10. Next, nail the first row straight, then continue row by row, using three nails per plank in the groove. Glue can also be added for extra sealing.

  11. Then, to glue the floor to wood or concrete, level and clean the subfloor, keep a 10mm gap, glue the first row, then continue, staggering boards.

  12. Finally, check each plank while installing, mix colours naturally, and allow the floor to expand and settle properly for a long-lasting finish.

I hope you now understand the step-by-step process of installing bamboo wood flooring.

Hello there. Let me help you out with how to install bamboo wood flooring. You first need to do some prep work. Clean, dry and level the subfloor first. If the concrete subfloor has been recently laid, check for moisture. Place the flooring in the room where it has to be laid for 48 hours to get accustomed to the climate, or else you will have issues later. With all the panel flooring, you must lay the boards in line with the greatest natural light source.

How to Install Bamboo Hardwood Flooring?

  1. Prepare a plywood subfloor and nail down any loose areas that move or squeak.

  2. Next, you must sand or plane any high spots and also fill any low ones.

  3. After the floor is levelled, sweep and clean the surface.

  4. A 10mm expansion gap has to be left around the perimeter of the room, including doorways.

  5. Place the first row of bamboo, once it is straight and secure, carry on building up the rows by secret nailing into the groove.

  6. You can use PVA glue to fully seal the floor.

These are the steps to install your bamboo flooring. I hope the steps turn out to be useful.
