I learned that the most important thing is the usage of support brackets, which keep the AC intact and will not damage the window as well. I am sharing the steps that the professional took while installing the AC.
He took the measurements first. You can measure the height and width of the window to figure out how to mount the unit properly.
Inspect the window to check for any previous damage. If the window is too weak to handle the weight of the unit, you may have to repair it first.
Once everything was in place, he set the AC unit carefully in the window and attached panels and support brackets to secure it properly.
