Here is how to install a ceiling fan box new construction:
Select the appropriate fan-rated electrical box. You must choose a UL-listed fan support box (usually rated for 30 to 70 kg dynamic load).
Before installing ceiling boards, mark the centre of the room or the intended fan location.
Now, attach the box to the structural support. The box should not move or flex.
After that, pull the supply cable into the box: Phase (Live), Neutral, and Earth wire.
Secure with cable clamps. Ensure you leave enough slack for a later fan connection.
Now, set the box flush with the finished ceiling.
Finally, install a temporary cover plate. It will keep dust and paint out throughout the construction process.

This should be done before you install plasterboard, then run wiring to the box and cover it until the fan is fitted properly. How to Install Ceiling Fan Box in New Construction?
Turn off the electricity at the breaker and verify that the circuit is dead.
Select a ceiling fan placement between the joists and mark the centre.
As fans are heavier and need more support, install an electrical box that is rated for fans rather than a light box. Always select a UL-listed fan support box.
Use a metal mounting brace made for new construction and attach the box directly to a ceiling joist.
Pull enough wire through the opening and run the electrical cable from the switch to the box.
To make connections later, remove the insulation from the ends of the wires.
Now, you must tighten all the screws and ensure the box is flat with the finished ceiling surface.
Until the fan is mounted and wired, keep the capped wires within the box.
