You can bundle all cables with zip ties, then route them along the back of the panel or shelves using stick-on cable clips, velcro straps and a plastic cord sleeve so nothing dangles in front. Alternatively, you can add a surface plastic raceway (cord cover) from the TV down to the unit. Tuck the wires inside and paint the raceway the same colour as the wall or laminate to make it disappear.

Hey. The best way to hide your TV wires in a TV unit is to have a vertical wire channel behind the TV and then run cables inside it. Here are some ways for how to hide wires in TV units:

  1. You can bundle all cables with zip ties, then route them along the back of the panel or shelves using stick-on cable clips, velcro straps and a plastic cord sleeve so nothing dangles in front.

  2. You can add a surface plastic raceway (cord cover) from the TV down to the unit. Tuck the wires inside and paint the raceway the same colour as the wall or laminate to make it disappear.

  3. If you are designing a new TV panel, create a hollow gap of about 25-50 mm between the wall and the TV panel. Run flexible PVC conduit or cable sleeves vertically in this void from a concealed junction box near the floor up to a box behind the TV.

  4. Plan the switchboard and sockets inside the TV unit or behind the panel so that only a short power lead is visible, and use groove details or channels in the panel design to naturally hide any remaining wires.

I hope this helps.
