We all have been there. It can be stressful to hang art since you end up with extra nail holes, damaged plasterboard from a big item or a dent in the wall because you missed the nail with the hammer. Sometimes the fear of what might happen is sufficient to prevent you from hanging your favourite pieces of art. But you can learn how to hang a painting without damaging the wall if you follow a few simple instructions that I am sharing here.

Design the interior of your house by consulting expert designers here.

How to hang paintings on wall without nails?

1) Brick Clamp

Brick walls may give off bad vibes. Brick clamps are a fantastic substitute for drilling into a brick wall! You can get brick clamps from your neighbourhood hardware or building material store. The height of the block will determine the size of the clip you require. These clamps contain bottom prongs that stabilise the hook against the bottom of the brick and teeth that press into the mortar along the top of a brick. You can hang your artwork using the hook on the clamp after they have been installed.

2) Mounting Kits

Larger pieces of artwork are best hung using mounting kits. Your neighbourhood hardware, retail, or craft store may also carry these kits. You will find everything you need in these kits to hang the most popular frames on your wall. Remember that you must use a mounting bracket for a wall stud or a wall anchor for plasterboard if you are hanging anything heavier than 20 pounds. This helps you understand how to stick things to walls without damaging paint.

3) Sticky Hooks

When it comes to hanging artwork, sticky hooks are the ideal solution. These hooks work on smooth brick walls, painted walls, plaster and even plasterboard! They complement a variety of artwork because of their numerous forms and sizes. Additionally, they are reusable, allowing you to remount the hook if you are dissatisfied with the placement of a piece of art after it has been hung.
