To obtain the UAN (Universal Account Number), follow these steps:
Visit the official website of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
Click on the "For Employees" tab and select "UAN Member e-Sewa."
On the UAN Member e-Sewa portal, click on "Activate UAN" or "Know your UAN" based on your requirements.
Enter the necessary details like Aadhaar number, PAN, EPF member ID, or other required information.
Verify the details and complete the authentication process.
Once authenticated, the UAN will be displayed on the screen or sent to your registered mobile number and email address.
Make note of the UAN for future reference.
Alternatively, you can also approach your employer or the HR department to provide you with the UAN number, as they are responsible for generating and assigning UANs to employees.
