Let me first tell you that the pest control sector in India is seeing rapid growth, about 15% per year. It will be a great idea to start a pest control business if you meet the following criteria
The applicant must be at least 18 years old
He/she must have 1 year of registered pesticide application experience
he/she must be trained in fumigation and prophylaxis programme for at least 15 days. This training must be acquired by the NIPHM/CFTRI/NPPTI.
A degree in a scientific discipline can be used as a substitute for experience
The applicant must have a pest control license
You can apply for the pest control license offline by
Visiting the Deputy Commissioner’s office with all the documents- pest control license, educational qualification, age proof and others. Then just apply for it by filling out an application form and after the officials complete scrutinising the documents, they will give you the license.
I did not understand the online process much but have heard that one can apply for it online through the
CIBRC website as well.

The pest control license is valid for at least a year but you can renew it for a nominal fee.
