As per my knowledge, a land survey number is a unique number allotted to a specific land piece, so I am not sure a new survey number can be assigned to the same piece of land if it has already been assigned one. However, I suggest you reach out to the land and revenue department of the state to get better clarity on this as this is the authority that assigns the survey number in Karnataka.
