How to get a credit report for renting a house?
To get a credit report of a tenant, you will have to contact a credit report-making company and provide them with some details about the tenant like
Name of tenant
Date of Birth of tenant
Full residential address
Social security number
Present landlord
Present employer
Do note that before you contact the company, you have to obtain the tenant’s written permission that he/she agrees to the process.
The company, in order to know that you are the actual landlord, will ask you to provide them with some documents like
Identification proof
Document verifying you are the true owner of the property
Verification of your current address
