How to fix chimney flashing?Clean the existing flue and inspect the status of the mortar joints.
With a flashlight figure out if the chimney has any bends or restrictions
Measure the length and dimensions of the chimney. This measurement will be used to determine the dimensions of the liner needed.
Flatten the liner on the surface of the roof and fasten the liner to a hose clamp.
Lay down the insulation blanket on the ground.
Centre the liner in the centre and wrap the insulation blanket around it
Fix the liner with the adhesive of your choice
Position all the connectors to the liner
Seal the crown of the chimney and other gaps with silicone caulking
