Hello. I noticed a hole on the rubber pipe we used for watering our plants. The leak was getting bigger, so I looked up how to fix a leaking rubber water pipe. I found a simple solution using electrical tape and scissors. You can wrap te tape around to make a tight seal around the leakage. But, there are somethings to take care of before you use the tape. I will share everything below.

How to Fix Leaking Rubber Pipe?

Here is the method you can follow to fix the leak in your rubber pipe

  1. Start by locating the leakage. Once you have located the leak, clean and dry it using a cloth.

  2. Ensure that the hole is free of any moisture. Now, grab a high-quality electrical tape and a pair of scissors.

  3. Hold the pipe and wrap the tape over the hole rapidly and tightly. Ensure there is no gap for air bubbles to form.

  4. Add as many layers as needed to cover and seal the hole. The more the tape, the better the fix.

  5. Once you are done wrapping, cut the tape using the scissors.

  6. Test the pipe by turning on the water. Check that there is no sort of leakage from the pipe.

So, this is how to fix hole in rubber water pipe. I hopee you find the process useful.
