Clearly mention the make or model of the vehicle, registration number, chassis number, engine number, or any other unique identifiers.
List exactly what the agent can do. For example, to sell the vehicle, negotiate the sale price, sign the sale agreement, submit the transfer documents, receive payment, appear before the Regional Transport Office (RTO), and handle registration or transfer formalities.
If you wish, you can limit the POA’s scope, e.g., only for sale, or only for transfer. Avoid ambiguous or overly broad wording.
Mention the date and city (or town) where you sign the POA. This establishes when and where the agreement came into force.
