If you want to file a case against Kotak Bank’s credit card division, you may have to follow these steps:

  • First, you should try to resolve your issue with the bank directly. You can contact the customer care of Kotak Bank at 1860 266 2666 or 1860 266 0811, or email them at service.bank@kotak.com. You can also fill the online grievance redressal form on their website.

  • If you are not satisfied with the bank’s response, you can escalate your complaint to the Nodal Officer of Kotak Bank. You can find the contact details of the Nodal Officer on their website. You should mention your complaint reference number and attach relevant documents while writing to the Nodal Officer.

  • If you are still not satisfied with the Nodal Officer’s response, you can approach the Banking Ombudsman appointed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Banking Ombudsman is an independent authority that can help you resolve your complaints against banks. You can find the contact details of the Banking Ombudsman for your region on the RBI website. You should file your complaint within one year from the date of receipt of the final reply from the bank or within one year and one month from the date of filing the complaint with the bank, whichever is earlier.

  • If you are not happy with the decision of the Banking Ombudsman, you can appeal to the Appellate Authority within 30 days from the date of receipt of the award or rejection letter. The Appellate Authority is the Deputy Governor in charge of the Consumer Education and Protection Department of RBI. You can find the contact details of the Appellate Authority on the RBI website.

  • If you are not satisfied with the Appellate Authority’s decision, you can file a civil suit in a court of law against Kotak Bank’s credit card division. You may need to hire a lawyer and pay legal fees for this option
