DSC for EPFO optimises all procedures related to the employee's PF transfer claim, whether they were employed by the current firm or a previous one. According to the instructions on the CCA, Government of India web, an EPFO digital signature must be used in order to register a PF claim on the EPFO portal.

Steps for ESign registration in EPFO

1. Starting Off: Access the EPF website by logging in.

2. Toggle to the Establishment tab. After logging in, pick Digital Signature from the drop-down box under the Establishment tab. The Digital Signature Registration Page will appear once you click it.

3. Publish Required Information: Enter the necessary information, choose "Sign with USB token" under "Type of Registration," and then click "Submit."

4. Select Java Link: On the following page, click the dialogue box that says "activate Java" and select "Allow and remember." The processing will begin and can go on for a while. There will be a pop-up window that indicates if Java has to be enabled or not.

5.  Kind PIN: Select the "run" tab. You will be prompted to register to your specific DSC in the following popup. Enter the pin received when clicking register DSC.

6. Register: It will display a dialogue box after being successfully registered, informing you of the same.

7. Register your signature to view: Return to Establishment and select Digital Signature once more. View Registered Signature will be displayed in a bar.

8. Obtain the PDF: It can be tapped to see your registered information. Then click "request letter" to access the pdf file.

9. To sign the contract: Final Step: Sign the provided document and mail it to the PF office in question. You are now ready, and if all of the submitted papers are successfully checked, your e-signature will be accepted.

Here is how you can upload a digital signature in the EPFO portal-

• Visit the

  Unified Employers Portal

• Login using your credentials

• Click on the Establishment tab

• Select the DSC/e-Sign option

• Enter all the details like name, mobile number, designation and more

• Select the type of registration

• Click on Submit

• Click on Run

• Select the DSC and click on register DSC next

• Provide the PIN as given by the DSC provider

• Click on OK and the
