For most of the employees in India, the process has been made simpler by the use of e-verification of tax returns through an Aadhar card. Aadhar card e-verification requires a few following procedures to complete:
Go to
https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login
.
Sign in with your PAN or Aadhar number and tap on e-file tab.
Select e-verify return under Income Tax Return.
Now choose "I would like to e-verify using OTP on mobile number registered with Aadhaar" and click "Continue.”
Tap the check box and Generate Aadhar OTP.
Mention the 6-digit Aadhar OTP and hit the Validate button.
You will get a message stating that returns got successfully e-verified and you can download the acknowledgment.
