he process of mutation of property in India involves the following steps:
Submit an application at the local civic body (to Tehsildar) or at the revenue office.
Pay applicable fees through Demand Drafts.
Enclose the required documents along with the application and DDs.
Documents required for mutation in case of inheritance or Will are as below:
Death certificate of the deceased owner.
Succession certificate or legal heir certificate.
NOC from other legal heirs.
Affidavit on stamp paper.
Copy of will (if any).
Property tax receipts.
