How to Deco Paint Furniture at Home?
Start by cleaning the furniture to remove dirt, dust, and grease. Use a solution of water and mild dish soap and dip a sponge or cloth in it. Wipe the surface well. Pat dry to finish cleaning.
Now, sand it with sandpaper and take a tack cloth to wipe the furniture.
In case you’re painting over glossy or dark furniture, apply a primer to promote paint adhesion and also prevent paint bleeding. Choose a primer that is compatible with Deco paint.
Let it dry and stir your deco paint thoroughly.
Now, you can paint thin layers with a paintbrush or a foam roller.
Apply multiple thin coats of the paint. Give drying time between each coat.
After the final coat dries, apply a clear sealer or topcoat to secure the finish.
Give appropriate curing time to the paint as per the manufacturer’s guidelines before using the furniture.
